COURSE MAP

2024 Course Map

Here is a map of the 2024 course map including water stations indicated by the Ws. Please note that the 10K and 13.1 mile routes split briefly on DeBartolo quad. There are four water stations along the loop. A very limited number of portable restrooms will also be available in McGlinn Fields, which is in the southwest corner of the course. The race will start by heading west and then north, towards the lakes.

PACKET PICK UP

Our race bags will include your race bib, t-shirt, and various items from our sponsors.

Packet Pick-Up will take place from 10AM-5PM in Stepan Center on Friday, April 12th and from 7:30-8:30AM in Stepan Center on Saturday, April 13th.

At packet pick up, we will have small course maps available and other Holy Half swag for you to take/purchase. At packet pick up, you will sign a waiver. If you are picking up a packet for a friend, please have them sign the waiver that we send prior to race day. You will need their signed waiver to be able to pick up their packet. Race waivers were emailed to runners in early April.

Are you a visitor to campus? Visitors should park in a visitor lot on the south side of campus. The primary visitor lot is Walsh Visitor lot, and visitor parking is also available in Compton, Joyce, Walsh Architecture, and Baseball lots. All of these lots are pay-to-park with free one hour parking (you’ll see pay stations where you will need to enter your license plate number). A live map of campus is available here.

THE RACE

As you know, we have two races: a 13.1 mile race and a 10K race. The starting and finish line for the event is at Stepan Center, located on the Northern edge of ND's campus.

RACE WAVES

We will have three waves for the race as a whole, and those participating in the 13.1 mile race and 10K race will be intermixed throughout the three waves. A race wave format will allow us to split up runners into different groups to prevent crowding. Waves are self-sorting (meaning, runners anticipating a faster pace should place themselves in an earlier wave, regardless of the distance they’re registered for) and because our bibs have chip timers in them, your time starts when you cross the start line.

RACE START TIME

Please line up at the starting line at 8:45 am. The race start times are as follows.

Wave 1: 9:00 am (Runners anticipating a faster pace, regardless of race distance)

Wave 2: 9:05 am

Wave 3: 9:10 am (Less competitive runners, regardless of distance)

RACE DAY PARKING

Runners should enter campus from the east (off of Twyckenham Drive) and can park in the Bulla and Wilson lots. For directions to these lots, you can visit map.nd.edu and type in their names.

There are signs indicating the names of the lots, and parking volunteers will be available to help you locate them. If needed, overflow lots will be available. Please allow 15-20 minutes to park, walk to the starting line at Stepan Center, and get situated.

AWARDS

We will recognize top finishers in a very brief awards ceremony at 11:15 a.m. in Stepan. The following runners will be recognized, and top finishers (not top 3) will receive a Fleet Feet voucher.

10k Men's Top 3 Finishers

10k Women's Top 3 Finishers

Half Marathon Men's Top 3 Finishers

Half Marathon Women's Top 3 Finishers

All race finishers will receive a medal upon finishing the race (regardless of which race you run in).

PASTA DINNER WITH B+

The B+ club is hosting a Pasta Dinner in Stepan Center from 5PM-7PM on Friday, April 12th. This will be a great event to attend to fuel up before the race and support a great cause! All proceeds will go to the B+ club. Please fill out this form if you plan on attending: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScwLDuwOmezuR7o8hShOhSw-WnMwETxAdR0etpmpyTrIMQDsA/viewform

POST-RACE PARTY

We are excited to announce that Legend's will be hosting a post-race party following the Holy Half. All runners will receive a 10% off coupon to use between April 15th-April 30th on their entire purchase. Select appetizers will also be Half Off to runners who show their bib. Please stop by to celebrate your accomplishments and enjoy some good food and drinks!

Address: 100 Legends, Notre Dame, IN 46556

BAG DROP

There will be a bag drop available beginning at 7:45 a.m. in Stepan Center for storing runners’ small bags or other personal items. You can pick up these items at the same location until 12:15 p.m. Please leave as many belongings in your car or dorm room as possible. The Holy Half is not responsible for any lost or stolen items, and the bag drop will be monitored by a race day volunteer, but not locked.
